As this pandemic continues to unfold, coupled with the increasing numbers of confirmed COVID-19 cases in our state, Tri-County Veterinary Services will continue following our curbside protocol for all appointments, with the exception of euthanasias. We will continue to restrict appointments to emergency appointments, sick appointments, time sensitive appointments such as vaccines, prescriptions and products only. We will not be scheduling nail trims, baths, and boarding at this time. Our curbside protocol is as follows: the doors will remain locked and clients will remain in their vehicles. Upon arrival, clients are to text or call for check-in. Prescriptions and products will be pre-paid and brought to your vehicle upon your texting in at arrival. If you have an appointment, a staff member will come to your vehicle and bring your pet into the clinic for their exam. All communication and payments will be through the phone, text, or with a staff member car-side. Currently, the preferred payment method is credit card or Care Credit, as it is electronic, however, we will accept cash. We are no longer accepting checks. You may also have your prescription or product mailed to your home for an additional fee (postage). We do ask, if you are sick or have been in close contact with someone who is sick, please do not come to the clinic or use the curbside service. We have been experiencing high call volumes, please leave a message if you get the voice mail and your call will be returned.
At this time, there is no evidence that animals play a significant role in spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. Based on the limited data available, the risk of animals spreading COVID-19 to people is considered to be low. Further studies are needed to understand if and how different animals could be affected by the virus and the role animals may play in the spread of COVID-19. The 3rd Saturday of every month open 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, Closed Sunday
